A joint seminar to discuss the implications of the High Court's judgment in Dennis. R (On the Application Of) v London Borough of Southwark [2024] EWHC 57 (Admin), the first case to tackle the implications of the Supreme Court's decision in Hillside.

Overview

This session will review the detail of the case, judgment of the Court, practical implications and the important question of 'what now' (including as part of a panel discussion between our four speakers). Both Melissa Murphy KC and Heather Sargent appeared for the local planning authority in the case.

This event is taking place in person only at The St Botolph Building, 138 Houndsditch, London EC3A 7DH. Please note that this event will not be recorded. Attendees will be invited to arrive at 6pm for registration and should be seated ahead of the seminar which will start promptly at 6.15pm.
