These were the ending words from the Secretary of State Michael Gove MP’s speech today on the government’s latest planning reforms.
It has been a full year since the consultation on the Framework began, and the latest publication today has been a long time coming. The government’s announcement was pitched as a ‘planning moment’. What does it mean for the future? What does it mean in the context of a likely looming General Election? What is the immediate reaction from those at the heart of interpreting and then applying it daily?
