Property Law Quarter Day Update – Mediation and Part 36 in Property Law

Given the landmark judgment in Churchill v Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council [2023] EWCA Civ 1416 Alternative Dispute Resolution and specifically mediation is firmly back on the agenda.

Overview

In this upcoming Quarter Day seminar, Lord Carnwath, Myriam Stacey KC and Rupert Cohen will discuss their respective views on mediation (both as mediators and when representing parties) and Part 36 offers in the context of property litigation including providing tips to maximise the prospect of settlement.

This seminar will take place as a hybrid event. Please note, in person attendees will be invited to arrive at 4.30pm for light refreshments and be seated ahead of the live broadcast.
