A New Constitution for The Republic of The Gambia

The Gambian Constitutional Review Commission has published for consultation a draft new constitution for The Gambia. Alex Goodman, working for the Bingham Centre for the Rule of Law, is meeting this week with the Commission and representatives of all of the main political parties and civic society in Banjul to discuss its provisions. The project follows similar work Alex has undertaken as a fellow of the Bingham Centre in relation to Palestine and Myanmar.
