The public inquiry into the death of Dawn Sturgess from Novichok poisoning begins today.
Harriet Wakeman is instructed in the Inquiry, which is being chaired by the Rt Hon Lord Hughes of Ombersley.
The Inquiry is examining the circumstances of Ms Sturgess’ death in July 2018 following exposure to the nerve agent Novichok.
The Inquiry has been set up to examine how Dawn Sturgess came by her death and to identify, so far as consistent with section 2 of the Inquiries Act 2005, where responsibility for her death lies. The Inquiry will also consider the poisoning of Sergei and Yulia Skripal and examine any connection between the Skripal poisoning and the death of Dawn Sturgess.
