Acted for the Secretary of State in an appeal concerning the interpretation of the Naval, Military and Air Forces Etc. (Disablement and Death) Service Pensions Order 2006 art.35(3). A widow who was entitled to a restored war widow's pension was not required to make a claim; a restored pension was payable from the date when she became entitled to it.
