Landmark barristers featured in two of The Lawyer’s Top 10 appeals of 2023

The Lawyer has revealed their top 10 appeals of 2023 which includes Landmark barristers in two of the top 10. Richard Drabble KC is acting in the Rwanda appeal – AAA and others -v- Secretary of State for the Home Department. This is due to take place in the Court of Appeal in April/May 2023 and it was named one of the most prominent national legal stories of 2022. Richard is acting for the claimant in the third proceedings, RM (Iran), and the claimant in the fourth proceedings, ASM (Iraq) respectively. James Maurici KC and Richard Moules are acting in the Manchester Ship Canal Company v United Utilities Water appeal.  This is due to take place across two days in the Supreme Court on 6 March and involves a long-standing legal battle between the owner of the Manchester ship canal and the UK's largest listed wastewater company.
