Landmark Chambers’ Property team elevated to the top tier in Chambers and Partners UK Bar Guide 2024

Chambers and Parters 2024 Property

Landmark’s real estate litigation group has been promoted to the top banding in the 2024 edition of Chambers & Partners (published today, 19 October 2023).

This year’s directory sees more property barristers featured than ever before at both silk and junior levels. This achievement follows an outstanding year for the group which has included seven appearances in the Supreme Court and eight property cases in the Court of Appeal as well as a strong representation by Landmark members at all levels.

Joint group heads Myriam Stacey KC and Toby Watkin KC said:

“We are very fortunate that Landmark’s real estate litigation team has great depth of talent at all levels across the full range of property disputes. As well as being fortunate to have welcomed new members to the new group over the last couple of years, we are really pleased that the efforts of the group as a whole have been acknowledged by leading legal directory Chambers & Partners across all types of property work and at all levels of seniority.”

Amongst a plethora of high profile cases featuring Landmark barristers this year is the stand out case of the year Fearn v Tate [UK2023] UKSC 4 revolving around the key issue of nuisance to flat owners caused by observation from Tate Modern’s viewing gallery. Tom Weekes KC and Richard Moules acted for the winning party.
