Landmark Chambers was recognised as 'Set of the Year' last night (3 October 2023) at the prestigious The Legal 500 UK Bar Awards 2023.
The set was also awarded 'Set of the Year' in the Planning and Land Use category.
Tom Weekes KC was named 'Silk of the Year' in the Property and Housing category; David Blundell KC won 'Silk of the Year' for Immigration; and Richard Moules was named the Planning and Land Use Junior of the Year.
Commenting on Landmark's standing as 'Set of the Year', the judges said:
"To date in 2023, members of the chambers have had Supreme Court victories in all three of the set's core strengths of planning, property and public law."
"We are delighted to see the talents of our colleagues at Landmark recognised by Legal 500 across our core practice areas. Huge congratulations must also go to our planning group for their win in the category of 'Planning and Land Use Set of the Year' as well as to Tom Weekes KC, David Blundell KC and Richard Moules for their individual awards. We are indebted to our clients for their loyalty and trust and, as ever, to our dedicated practice management team for all their support."
Paul Newhall, Landmark's Chief Executive, said:
"These incredible wins are testament to the excellent counsel that we are fortunate enough to have at Landmark and I'm delighted that so many people have been recognised by Legal 500.”
