Many congratulations to Richard Drabble KC, James Maurici KC and Julia Smyth who all collected awards at the 2022 Chambers UK Bar Awards yesterday (17 November).
Richard was honoured with the 'Lifetime Achievement ' at the Bar with Chambers particularly recognising him as one of a small handful of practising public lawyers who may justifiably claim to have laid the foundations for modern constitutional and administrative law.
James Maurici KC was named as Environment/Planning Silk of the Year and Julia Smyth won the award for Human Rights and Public Law Junior of the Year.
Landmark Chambers' Chief Executive Paul Newhall said:
“I am delighted that our barristers have received such incredible recognition for the work they do. These accolades reflect their talent as well as the esteem in which they are held by the wider profession. I would like to further congratulate Richard, one of Chambers’ longest-serving barristers, on receiving the prestigious ‘Lifetime Achievement’ award for his monumental four decades at the bar. Most importantly, we are extremely appreciative of our clients for their continued loyalty and support.”
