Landmark Chambers is delighted to welcome Charles Bishop and Peter Sibley as tenants from today, Friday 1 October 2021, after the completion of their 12-month pupillage.
During their pupillage, Peter and Charles undertook 12 months of virtual and in-person training across all of Landmark’s specialist areas. They have been involved in all aspects of planning, property, environmental and public law and their knowledge and application have exceeded the gold standard required to join Landmark Chambers. We look forward to having them on board.
Peter brings with him over a year of experience working in the Real Estate Litigation team at Mishcon de Reya LLP and his practice will focus on property, and planning law.
Charles has already assisted on his first case in the Court of Appeal, working with the experienced property barrister Justin Bates. Charles practice will focus on public, planning and property law.
Commenting on the news, Head of Landmark’s Pupillage Committee, Carine Patry, said: “We are delighted to welcome Charles and Peter to the team. Despite the difficult challenges brought about by Covid-19, Charles and Peter have remained resilient and proved without a shadow of a doubt that they can provide the highest quality of work for our clients. Throughout the last 12 months they have shown their exceptional talent, knowledge, drive and enthusiasm, which will be an asset to Chambers’ and we look forward to supporting them as their careers develop.”
